It officially started the weekend of January 5, 2008. A couple pregnancy tests were taken and each stated positive. Then we received Dr. confirmation on January 8th...when I had scheduled a different appt. With miscarriage so common, we didn't want to tell people and have worked to keep it a secret until we see the heartbeat....sorry we lied to you friends.
Monday February 4, 2008 is our first Dr. appt to hear the heartbeat and learn all the dos and don'ts. We have both been reading up on our actions and it is taking a lot of strength and memory to not eat my favorite Blue Cheese! We plan on telling family around Valentine's day. That is when we will unveil this Blog. It is to help our family and friends keep up with our changes, and for me to keep my sanity. Journaling electronically is so much faster then writing. I can then print this off and make a baby journal out of this.
Right now our due date is around September 17th. Sorry to the Evans, White's, & Sherman's because we can't commit to the N.C. event....I am going to be huge and might not be able to fly; even if I am flying to be with an OB GYN. It would be interesting to have one of our good friend's who's rear end I have seen as much as my own, see all my goodies; he would do an amazing job though!
The biggest thing today was waking up to my first dream about the baby. I delivered a healthy boy after the first trimester at a healthy 6lb 6oz. Everyone was excited and it is an interesting dream since we aren't going to find out the sex. My biggest symptoms are soreness, nausea, and a bit tired. The memory is going a bit as well.
