So far behind, and it is April already

For the many weeks I have been so busy I couldn't update the blog. Here are many photos from our Easter fun of coloring eggs at the farm, coloring eggs with the Sandersons, egg hunts, and so much family fun.

Her 18M appt she was 22lbs (25%) and 33" (85%). She keeps being long and lean. There were no tears or noises when she got her one shot and even asked the Dr. to listen to her heart More, more!

Here is Gracie enjoying bunny ears with the marker on her face that happened when I was trying to color in a book very peacefully.

Our little multi-tasker using the phone and Mama's work computer. Too funny

Bunny Butt! She doesn't look too great, but it was too cute to pass up. Gracie is putting more words together and even said "bye bye uncle Brad" as he left the house that day.

Amazingly the eggs got colored without any huge drama. Oh the fun!!! She now likes to drive down the road with the window open.

The hunt underway, there are many photos of her stuffing her face with the blueberries & fish. This was after we had to keep the dogs out of the room since they got two of her eggs.

Adam being a wonderful tunnel for Gracie & Abigail, Abba as she is known to Gracie.

Gracie did great and only had green fingers for a few mins.

Mama horsing around with her little girl. Way too much fun!

I know there is no organization with these photos, but I had to get something up since I won't have time while traveling for work Tues - Fri this week.
Blessings to you all!

Oh yes it's ladies night,

Well after a crazy weekend of packing and moving, with me constantly saying "holy crap we have a lot of stuff," we were glad to get so much done. After last night, we now have the big items out of the house and 90% of all the boxes. There is no way we would have been able to get so much done without our amazing friends. You are the best and we are blessed to have you in our lives.

Sunday we did get a little ladies time for a baby shower. Going to a party required a party dress. Here is Gracie's party dress. Since we are packing she found the box that had all of my long necklaces in it. She needed to accessorize with her dress, though we are going to work on not over accessorizing. It was so fun!

Gracie also got to have a sleepover/fun night with Abigail "Abba" and Ian "EEE". The kids were so adorable, her playing night night. I was able to enjoy some time with Shawna while getting a bit more packing done.

Now we continue packing and start painting this weekend. The fun continues to try and get the house lists March 29th or 30th. We pray we are blessed with selling the house in the right time for the right price.

Will update more later :P

A new song

Wow - The last post was again a couple weeks ago though it seems like it has been months. Again we will not discuss all of the drama that is life and focus on the fun life of Gracie. We can start with today and work backwards (kind of). This weekend we celebrated the 3rd birthday of Ava, her day care buddy. As with all birthday parties the Birthday song was sung. This morning as I was getting Gracie ready for the day I heard her start to sing something like "Happy burrr aaa oooh you" over and over. It wasn't very long before I realized she was singing the Birthday song without prompting or help. This evening she started again. Honestly I really don't know where she gets it, okay I sing to her about most anything and she loves it. It is all my fault. She is growing too quickly.
Here is a photo of her and Papa looking at photos of Baby. Gracie adores looking at photos of the baby, her, on cameras or video cameras. It makes taking pictures harder and harder.

There has been plenty of time lately with GiGi and Bapa (my dad Grandpa). If we go anywhere or are near a phone she always wants to talk with one of them. It is such a disappointment when her requests aren't fulfilled. The funniest lately is her huge desire to watch a video I posted on facebook of Bapa reading to her and "rolling" all the way home. Even with my dad with her performing the song she still wants to watch the video.

We also were able to enjoy some time with her birthday Buddy George and his parents, here is Sean helping Air Gracie. It was so much fun to get the two together while they played around each other. They are still fairly independent players, though love to play with what the other one is playing with. It was interesting to see the difference between the two. As I would talk with George and expect an answer that Gracie might give, he would just look at me and smile with the most adorable smile and maybe sign something or just go do something else. So different, but then again he was running circles around Gracie as she tried to keep up with the speed racer. It is going to be a joy to watch them continue to grow together!

Here is one final photo of our little lady enjoying some strawberry syrup that I made. No much made it into her mouth that is for sure. Her four teeth are there for all to see. She is starting to get more you can see and feel them on the top!

Will update when we have time. I am sure with the move there will be plenty of photos with Gracie in boxes which is very fitting since her favorite book right now is "Not a box".

Snow Far Behind in Updating

The snow has been so wonderful the past week, though it contributed to keeping me behind in updating the blog. Here are some photos, with more writing update to come later. This is her Valentine's day photo showing her 4 big teeth.

We celebrated Uncle Bri's birthday Valentine's day weekend, so we enjoyed some great times with the Peters. Here is a great photo of Nana with her two youngest grand babies. So happy for everyone.

Gracie has decided she loves to hide in her closet and come out to "surprise" you. So fun. Usually she is naked but I got a photo that is okay for web posting here. Too Cute!!

Here are a couple photos of the most recent snow. Gracie thought it was great since she could wear her adorable boots and a mix mash of winter attire that is all actually color coordinated, though the combined patterns could blind you. She loved it and I can't wait to spend more time with her out in the snow!

Enjoy!

Bueno Couple of weeks

Well we decided that Gracie had to experience Casa Bonita for the first time. Kacey and Seeley were able to join us for the experience. After taking our walk to order and pick our food up, we walked into the main area and were luckily sat near the waterfall. Gracie kept saying "oh" when she looked around. Sadly after lunch she was exhausted so we just walked around holding her. She did enjoy Black Bart's cave too that didn't scare her thank goodness.

We have just been having some good times around the house. Here are photos from the past couple weeks. One is of Gracie surrounded by the tissues she pulled from the box when we weren't looking. She was too quiet and just in the family room.

Brandy is her new favorite toy. Every morning she asks for "dogdog" or "Bandee" We are lucky to have such a sweet dog that will do anything to have the attention of Gracie. She knows if Gracie is there we will be close behind too.

Changes:

  • Her two top teeth are coming in and it is so different to see her with more teeth.

  • That wonderful strawberry blond hair continues to come in and now can be put in a ponytail. She now will ask for a bow every morning to be put in her pair.

  • Everyday is a new word: flower, Oscar, happy, fish

  • Gracie now turns on the bathtub faucet in our bathroom and thinks it is so fun. She wants go get in every time.

  • The girl loves to help around the house...cooking or cleaning.

  • Now is is obsessed with washing her hands in the downstairs bathroom over and over and over again. She loves to get her hands wet.

  • Musicals are a wonderful enjoyment for her. Here she is watching a little of Mama Mia. There isn't much TV in the house, but the girl just loves ABBA!

This weekend is going to be nice and quiet relaxing with family and friends. It seems so long ago that Adam and I actually went to the Superbowl. Now we are going to enjoy the quiet evening at home...though the experience was unforgettable!

Pearls, PJs, and Pearly Whites

A whole 16 months and still in awe of the changes. Here is a photo of her in her chef's hat from Grandma Margie & Papa...sorry Adam I cropped you out of the photo. You will understand when you see your hair in the photo :P See those bottom pearly whites?

Over the past couple weeks Gracie is starting to show signs of being a true toddler.

Highlights:

She is letting me know when she is frustrated, some times with words, some times with screams, and some times with even head banging.

There are new words everyday, stuck, yuck, spoon, happy and diaper.

Spoons and forks are necessary for eating or we have one of those frustrated moments stated before.

She loves to use Brandy as her own personal chair every morning. As Brandy waits for us to go downstairs Gracie likes to sit on her as she would a horse.

Gracie now actually gets afraid when we leave her with other people when there is a large group of people or kids. She is starting to get shy.

Her two top teeth are coming in. She is already starting to take after her parent's crooked teeth. The savings for an ortho will be starting soon enough.

She actually gets upset when we leave day care. The social butterfly doesn't want to leave her playmates at all and thinks the sun rises and sets with her friends: Addison, Ava and especially the 5 year old Ella. Ella is one of her favorite words.

If there is a mamote (remote around) she will grab it and ask to watch Mlmo (Elmo). Honestly I think she just wants to hear and watch music played on the TV since music isn't one of her words yet.

Gracie cares for everyone. Monday night her friend Ian was upset and Gracie put her hand on his back to comfort him. She also loves her babies so much any time she sees them.

Here she is enjoying some play time in the morning this past weekend. She loved playing in this tunnel while still in her pjs that were accented by the pearls. How could you not love this little girl?

Frogger anyone?

Well here are two videos taken recently of our little lady. The first was from her earlier in the year playing with her expensive toys, pillow, and showing off her vocabulary. The new word this week is milk and mamote (remote). The second is her in her learning tower, which is one of the best things for our little girl. She loves to see what mama is doing and now she can see without me having to worry as much with her falling off a chair.

Here she is playing with pillows, showing off her words, and kissing. Sorry for the blurry image sometimes, this is what I get for using a memory card instead of a tape.

This video is of her new trick with her tongue...she is like a little frog.
