Wow - The last post was again a couple weeks ago though it seems like it has been months. Again we will not discuss all of the drama that is life and focus on the fun life of Gracie. We can start with today and work backwards (kind of). This weekend we celebrated the 3rd birthday of Ava, her day care buddy. As with all birthday parties the Birthday song was sung. This morning as I was getting Gracie ready for the day I heard her start to sing something like "Happy burrr aaa oooh you" over and over. It wasn't very long before I realized she was singing the Birthday song without prompting or help. This evening she started again. Honestly I really don't know where she gets it, okay I sing to her about most anything and she loves it. It is all my fault. She is growing too quickly.
Here is a photo of her and Papa looking at photos of Baby. Gracie adores looking at photos of the baby, her, on cameras or video cameras. It makes taking pictures harder and harder.
There has been plenty of time lately with GiGi and Bapa (my dad Grandpa). If we go anywhere or are near a phone she always wants to talk with one of them. It is such a disappointment when her requests aren't fulfilled. The funniest lately is her huge desire to watch a video I posted on facebook of Bapa reading to her and "rolling" all the way home. Even with my dad with her performing the song she still wants to watch the video.
We also were able to enjoy some time with her birthday Buddy George and his parents, here is Sean helping Air Gracie. It was so much fun to get the two together while they played around each other. They are still fairly independent players, though love to play with what the other one is playing with. It was interesting to see the difference between the two. As I would talk with George and expect an answer that Gracie might give, he would just look at me and smile with the most adorable smile and maybe sign something or just go do something else. So different, but then again he was running circles around Gracie as she tried to keep up with the speed racer. It is going to be a joy to watch them continue to grow together!
Here is one final photo of our little lady enjoying some strawberry syrup that I made. No much made it into her mouth that is for sure. Her four teeth are there for all to see. She is starting to get more you can see and feel them on the top!
Will update when we have time. I am sure with the move there will be plenty of photos with Gracie in boxes which is very fitting since her favorite book right now is "Not a box".
