The weekend of June 11th G and I took a great trip to Minneapolis to visit Shara, her kids, and Hillary, and her kids. There was a 4 hour delay at the concourse that lead to many fun interactions with people also waiting. She looked adorable and made many friends with her squeaky shoes. The time with the ladies was so needed and relaxing. As you can see from the photos everyone got along so well...though I am not allowed to post these photos or I will be harmed the next time I see the ladies, there is a great photo of Shara swinging a sledge hammer and Hillary beating Sammi in Wii Boxing.
Funniest moments:
Gracie was obsessed with the 3' animated dinosaur that she kept calling Dorothy because of the Wiggles. She really didn't like it which made us hide "go night night" so she would relax.
The kids adored Gracie to the point of carrying her around. She at the end started going up to the boys and giving them a big hug in hopes of them carrying her. There was a fight as to who got to sit next to her for the photo.
I am amazed at one of my sorority sisters who has four boys and Shara with three kids. They are super women.
Here is an amazing photo fo the kids waiting to go and grab some asphalt to move. The patience was amazing and the only time I think they didn't move the whole weekend.
